Bellefontaine Neighbors Reaches Out
Effective use of the Internet is an important communications goal for the City. It strengthens our outreach by letting us give people the information they want, when they want it. In seeking an upgraded site, our objective was to provide excellent service at a reasonable cost by having a site that we could maintain. Alderman John Jordan directed the project, delivering the new site in June 2004.

Response by Bryan Consulting Inc.
The solution was provided by Bryan Consulting, which developed and hosts the site using its Content Management System (CMS). They teamed with WebSanity for user-interface design and visual design.

Timely Editing
This is not a traditional site, which is made by constructing pages one at a time and calling on specialists to make updates. Our site is database driven, using templates to create pages. The Bryan Consulting CMS stores our site content in a database and lets us do the editing. We update all parts of the site, create new pages, add photos, even change the navigation, working in plain English with no special tools or technical skills.
