The department enforces all ordinances of the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors and laws of the State of Missouri. We deploy a uniformed patrol division providing 24-hour police protection and service to the city. We also maintain a Detective Division, Traffic Division and Crime Prevention Bureau.
The Crime Prevention Bureau offers FREE residential and commercial security surveys along with coordinating a city-wide Neighborhood Watch Program. And, through our DARE Program and McGruff Crime Prevention Program we provide valuable service to the youth of the city.
