Adult Programs
Teen and Adult Swim Lessons -The class focuses on basic swimming skills. Progression will be taught at students pace. - Wednesday 6:00 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.

Exercise Classes- Minimum age is 15
- Missed classes cannot be made up.
- Participants can attend only those classes for which they register
- Fees are per session of classes that meets once a week. Classes may be taken in any combination to accommodate individual needs
Water Exercise A lined swim suit must be worn. Laundered tee-shirts &/or shorts may be worn over suits. Anyone with continence problems will be required to wear a commercial swim diaper. - March 24- May 16

Aqua Fitness – Continuous resistance exercise designed to improve breathing, circulation and muscle tone. Class is held in the shallow end of the pool; no swimming ability is necessary. - Monday 9:00 AM (Mary)

Deep Water – Resistance exercise in the deep end of the pool, using some float support. Exercises will focus on the legs, stomach, waist and hips as well as improving breathing and circulation. This class provides a cardiovascular workout along with toning. Swimming & treading skills are required. - Thursday, 7:45 PM (Tricia)
Senior Swim – This hour long open swim program is available to residents and Nonresidents ages 50 years and older and provides a pleasant atmosphere to exercise and socialize. Participants will exercise at their own pace, no instructor is provided. - Tuesday, 2:00 PM

Gym Fitness Resident - $16.00 Nonresident - $20.00
Aerobic Fitness -March 25 - May 13 Participation in these classes will help improve breathing, raise your heart rate and energy level, increase flexibility and tone muscles, creating a trimmer figure. Each class includes a walking warm-up, 20 to 25 minutes of low-impact dance style aerobics, cool down and floor work. Instructor: Kathy Cross - Tuesday 6:45 PM

Kickboxing Aerobics -March 29 - May 17 -This class starts with 5 to 10 minutes of warm-ups, 25 to 35 minutes using jab, hook, uppercut and kickboxing with some bootcamp moves, 10 to 15 minutes of toning and 5 to 10 minutes of cool down and stretches. Instructor: Nicole Wellman - Saturday 10:00 AM
Beginner Fitness- June 6 - July 27

This low level, exercise program is intended for beginners who are not quite ready for a strenuous exercise program. Urban Line/ slides Dancing If you want to to get fit, lose weight or just have fun, this class is for you. Learn the latest slides dances like the Electric Slide, the Cupid Shuffle and the Mariah Carey Slide. There are no age limits or pre-registration for this class. Pay only when you come. Miniature GolfMother's Day Weekend – Are you looking for a special way to celebrate Grandparents' Day? How about a round of miniature golf? Any grandparent will receive free admission when accompanied by a paying grandchild all weekend long. Remember, miniature golf is one sport where children can compete against adults and win! - Saturday & Sunday, May 10 - 11
Over 21 Miniature Golf Nights – Now that the weather has cooled down, come out and enjoy Bellefontaine’s miniature golf course. The snack bar will be open and beer will be available for purchase, so leave your cooler and the kids at home. . - Fridays, April 25 - May 16

Special EventsLunch & Bingo -Fee: Resident - $6.00 Nonresident - $7.00 Come to the Bellefontaine Neighbors Recreation Center for good food, good company and a few games of friendly bingo. Pre-registration is required for this popular event and the limit is 40 people. Fee covers lunch with dessert and beverage, two bingo cards and prizes. Mature Men's Billiards and Ping PongGet out of the house! Join your friends and make some new ones the fourth Thursday of each month. Shoot a little pool, play ping pong or just visit. The choice is yours. The game room will be reserved for participants of this program. Coffee will be provided and soda and snacks are available for purchase. This is held the 4th Thursday of each month. - Free for residents with ID card and 1 guest
