Senior Citizen Transortation Bus Driver

The City of Bellefontaine Neighbors is accepting applications for a Driver for their Senior Citizen / Persons with Disabilities Transportation Service. Qualified persons must have experience driving a 10 - 15 passenger van and have a current CDL.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain friendly and respectful relationships with the residents using the service and the office staff. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed. All destinations are in the North County area and include medical appointments, grocery shopping, lunch trips etc.

Additional duties include cleaning the interior/exterior of the vehicle, monitoring mileage and fluid use, etc.

Starting pay rate is $10.00 - $12.50 per hour depending on work experience and references. All applicants must release vehicle driving records and submit to a drug test.

Applications may be obtained and submitted at the Bellefontaine Neighbors City Hall Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
