As part of Metro’s new vision for public mobility in the St. Louis region, bus service on the #71 Parker down Lilac and the #78 around Ashbrooke Dr. will be replaced with a #71 Shepley Lilac and the #78 Bellefontaine Parker. Please click on the links below to see photos for the proposed routes. The gray areas will no longer have service.
The #71 and #78 will run every 30 minutes during the day and every 60 minutes evening and weekends. In addition, the #61 Chambers will increase in frequency to run at least every 15 minutes during the day. These changes are designed to mean faster trips, shorter waits and better connections for riders.
The #72 Monarch will be discontinued due to low ridership. As a result, Lewis and Clark Boulevard to the Missouri Veterans Home will no longer be served. However, the #61 Chamber will increase its frequency to every 15 minutes during the day.
