Ruby Tuesday is proud to be a part of Bellefontaine Neighbors and the Mathews-Dickey Bob Russell Park Campaign.  Until February 3, 2012, Ruby Tuesday will give 20% of your bill to our organization as long as you present the attached flyer.

Ferguson will be hosting a Ferguson Citizens Academy Class beginning in January, 2012. Please click the attachment for more information and the application which is due by January 20th.

There are many activities sponsored by the Rec Center. Some of the events are: Tunica and Memphis trips; Casino trips; Fairmount Park; and much more. Get involved and have fun at the same time! Call 867-0700 if you have any questions.

Also, there are many activities for the kids; please check out the new Fall/Winter Brochure. The Frightful Film Festival will be Friday, Oct. 28; doors open at 6:30 p.m. Popcorn and a drink will be provided. Costumes are optional, but prizes will be awarded for the best costume.

HELPFUL INFORMATION

2011 - St. Louis County SAVES is a Residential Energy Efficiency LOAN Program in which low interest loans are available to St. Louis County Homeowners for upgrades that improve comfort and reduce energy costs in their homes. Please see attached flyer for more information.

If you need help with utility bills, location of a food pantry, help with a child who has a learning disability, transportation, help with daycare, need temporary shelter or are in an abusive home, please contact the United Way and Missouri Foundation for Health to get pointed in the right direction. Homeless Prevention & RAPID RE-HOUSING PROGRAM GRANT - St. Louis County has received funds to help people 60 and older who live in St. Louis County to stabilize their housing situation or re-house those who have lost their housing. Attached is more information or you can call 615-4516

MSD - Please check out the 2011 MSD Assistance Program.

The City has passed an Ordinance dealing with Pods and Dumpsters parked in driveways. If you already have one, you were probably notified that you had 30 days to remove it. If you need more time, you have to get a $25 permit from City Hall. For more information call 867-0076 and ask for the Building Department.

Neighborhood Watch

If you would like to get more involved in your community, attend a Neighborhood Watch Meeting on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

 

Jan. 4th - The City Building Inspector, Ted Stocker will answer questions from residents on Property Maintenance.  Afterwards Sgt. Vassallo will discuss more about the Neighborhood Ownership Model.  Attached are the comments from the Circuit Attorney's office on this wonderful program.

 

Feb. 1st - Rich Krueger, with St. Louis County, will discuss the Weatherization Program.
